Hank & Tank Capture WWE NXT Tag Team Titles at Stand & Deliver, Ending FrAxiom’s 230-Day Reign
New champions have emerged in NXT! At Stand & Deliver 2025, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger pulled off a stunning upset, defeating Axiom and Nathan Frazer—known collectively as FrAxiom—to win the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships.
FrAxiom had held the gold for an impressive 230-day reign, including nine successful title defenses across both WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. Despite occasional friction between the high-flying duo, they remained dominant—recapturing the titles from Chase U just 19 days after a brief loss ended their previous 126-day run.
But the momentum shifted in favor of Hank and Tank, who spent recent weeks training under former WWE Tag Team Champions like #DIY and the Street Profits. Their breakout moment came on the April 16 episode of NXT, where they went the distance in a tag team gauntlet match to earn their shot at the titles.
The championship bout saw FrAxiom try to pick apart the less experienced but physically imposing challengers. At one point, it looked like the champions had the match won after Hank’s risky tope dive sent him crashing into the announcer’s table, leaving Ledger isolated.
Yet, Ledger showed heart, kicking out of FrAxiom’s devastating double-team moves. A Spanish Fly into a Phoenix Splash nearly ended it—until Hank reappeared to break the pin. Moments later, the duo hit a double splash on Frazer, followed by a spear and powerslam combo finisher to score the decisive three-count.
The win marks a career-defining moment for Hank & Tank, who now hold the NXT Tag Team Championships and bring an end to FrAxiom’s nearly year-long dominance.
