Sol Ruca Wins NXT Women’s North American Title in Thrilling Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver 2025
Just hours before WrestleMania 41 Saturday, the NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 event took center stage at T-Mobile Arena, featuring a high-stakes ladder match to crown a new NXT Women’s North American Champion.
The title had been vacated earlier this month after Stephanie Vaquer relinquished the championship following a brief stint as a double champion. That decision set the stage for a six-woman ladder match featuring Zaria, Kelani Jordan, Sol Ruca, Izzi Dame, Lola Vice, and Thea Hail.
Among them, only Kelani Jordan, the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Champion, had previously held the gold—ironically also winning it in a ladder match.
Sol Ruca Makes History at NXT Stand & Deliver
The match delivered chaos, high-flying action, and brutal ladder spots as each woman battled to become the next champion. Despite standout performances from the entire field, it was Sol Ruca who emerged victorious, climbing the ladder and claiming the title in dramatic fashion.
This marks Sol Ruca's first NXT championship, but not her first taste of WWE gold. Just days prior, she defeated Candice LeRae on the April 16 episode of WWE Speed to win the WWE Women’s Speed Championship, effectively making her a double champion across WWE brands.
Sol Ruca now becomes:
- The 4th NXT Women’s North American Champion
- The 2nd woman to win the title in a ladder match
With two championships to her name, Sol Ruca is quickly establishing herself as one of the brightest rising stars in WWE.
